JET A1
Jet fuel or aviation turbine fuel (ATF, also abbreviated avtur) is a type of aviation fuel designed for use in aircraft powered by gas-turbine engines. It is colorless to straw-colored in appearance. The most commonly used fuels for commercial aviation are Jet A and Jet A-1, which are produced to a standardized international specification. The only other jet fuel commonly used in civilian turbine-engine powered aviation is Jet B, which is used for its enhanced cold-weather performance.
UNLEADED PREMIUM GASOLINE
Premium Motor Gasoline or Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) or petrol is a product derived from crude and used as fuel in internal combustion engines. Mainly used in spark engines like car engines, motorcycles.

FUEL OIL
Fuel Oil (FO) is the residual product that remains after refining crude oil. FO is used in heaters, boilers, furnaces, kilns and power generators.
Specifications
- FO sold in Kenya must meet the following critical parameters:
- Kinematic viscosity @ 500C of 180 cst maximum
- Pour point of 270C maximum, sulphur content of 2.3% maximum
- Net calorific value of 41MJ/kg minimum.
DUAL PURPOSE KEROSENE
Dual purpose kerosene can be used as aviation fuel (JET A-1), and as cooking and Lighting oil (Illuminating Kerosene –IK) hence its name dual purpose kerosene.

LIQUID PETROLEUM GAS
LPG provide an alternative to electricity and heating oil (kerosene). LPG is most often used where there is no access to piped natural gas. LPG can be used as a power source for combined heat and power technologies (CHP).
CHP is the process of generating both electrical power and useful heat from a single fuel source. This technology has allowed LPG to be used not just as fuel for heating and cooking, but also for de-centralised generation of electricity.
